Licensing, in plain terms
CKB ships under the CKB Fair Use License (LicenseRef-CKB-FairUse), a source-available licence. It is free for personal and non-commercial use, for use inside an open source project, and for companies under $25k annual revenue. Commercial use above that threshold requires a paid licence.
Because it is a custom licence rather than an OSI-approved one, GitHub, SBOM tooling and package directories report it as “Other” orNOASSERTION. That is a limitation of automated classifiers, not an ambiguity in the terms — the full text is short and says exactly this.
